Mặc dù hạt mướp đắng có thể ăn được và tốt cho sức khỏe nhưng bạn có thể loại bỏ chúng nếu muốn giảm bớt vị đắng của mướp. Bạn có thể làm điều này bằng cách cắt dọc mướp đắng, dùng thìa nạo bỏ hạt trước khi nấu.
Luộc
Luộc mướp đắng là một cách giúp giảm vị đắng đáng kể. Nếu thêm một chút muối vào nước trong quá trình luộc thì vị đắng sẽ giảm nhanh hơn. Sau khi luộc mướp đắng cả vỏ, bạn hãy rửa lại bằng nước đun sôi để nguội rồi mới thưởng thức.
